Crew In Cowes on tour . . .
At Crew In Cowes we obviously love sailing around the Solent & enjoying the racing events organised by local clubs. Sometimes though it's great to get away & do some sailing in a warmer climate. Many local yachtsmen take time out from the seasons racing schedule & have the odd week elsewhere, be it racing classic yachts in St. Tropez or cruising in the Med.
In June 2012 we went to Croatia & chartered a Sun Odessey 45 from Sailcroatia.net.
Prices are surprisingly affordable although flights & 2 nights hotel accommodation need to be added on top.
This was our 5th year sailing in Croatia & with our vast experience plan to organise future trips for members & friends of Crew In Cowes.

At CrewInCowes we like to consider ourselves very patriotic so when we saw a local company had produced a Union Jack "iZip" Life Jacket as part of the 2012 celebrations we thought we'd better get one!
In the Year of the British Olympics & Queens Diamond Jubilee the SeaSafe promotion is aimed at raising awareness of their flexible designs and act as a reminder that the company is British. Not only that but their Union Jack Life Jacket is not only MADE in Britain, but IS Britain. - Well done to the guys at Sea Safe.
